By air
O'Hare International Airport is the closest airport to Northwestern University. Taking a taxi from O'Hare to Evanston is the best option as there are no direct public transportation routes. It is around $35 with American Taxi. Call from the airport at (800)244-1177.
By car
From the north: Take I-94 South.
Stay on I-94 (to the left) when I-294 splits off.
Exit at Dempster St./Route 58 East.
Stay on Dempster St. for 4 1/2 miles and turn left on Chicago Ave. (1st light after train viaduct)
Turn right on Sheridan Rd. after 7 blocks.
Turn left on Campus Dr. (2 blocks later just before the curve)
Parking garages are on the right.
From the west, east, and south: Take I-90/94-Kennedy Expressway North.
Stay on I-94 North when the Kennedy splits.
Exit at Dempster St./Route 58 East.
Stay on Dempster St. for 4 1/2 miles and turn left on Chicago Ave. (1st light after train viaduct)
Turn right on Sheridan Rd after 7 blocks.
Turn left on Campus Dr. (2 blocks later just before the curve)

Parking
Conference attendees staying at the Hilton Orrington can arrange for parking at the hotel.
It is around a 10 minute walk to the conference facilities from the Orrington.
Parking permits are required to park in university lots between 8AM-4PM, including the South Campus Parking Garages off of Campus Dr. This permit can be purchased for $8.25 a day at the Campus Parking Office on the first floor of the parking garage, next to the Segal Undergraduate Visitors Center at Sheridan and Campus Dr.
Parking at the South Campus Parking Garages is free on Wednesday night for the reception.
